FIB USU PR - On Monday, November 20, 2023, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatra Utara (USU) held a Public Lecture "Prospects for Translators in the Technological Era" which was attended by the Secretary of the Central HPI, Mr. Prof. Dr. Rudy Sofyan S.S., M. Hum. and all the public lecture participants who attended. Mrs. Niza Ayuningtias S.S., MTCSOL as moderator in public lecture activities.

 

The material presentation was delivered by Mrs. Anna Wiksmadara with the theme Translator Prospects in the Technological Era. Mrs. Anna Wiksmadara explained various things related to profession and career, which could help translators in the world. 630,000 people such as target professions (language graduates/language literature), education (lecturers/teachers, etc.), tourism (guides), advertising (promotional text writers), media (news writers/journalists/radio announcers).
